Towson High School Baseball Clinics

Towson University Sports Camps
- Towson University has a wide variety of 3-day and 5-day summer sports camps for all ages:
- For more info and to register, go to www.regonline.com/builder/site/Default.aspx?EventID=672226 .

Youth Rugby
- Lutherville-Timonium Rec Council (LTRC) is sponsoring Youth Rugby for boys and girls ages 6-19.
- From June through August.
- Rugby is a very fluid and fast-moving game (like soceer), and not nearly as physical as American football. I used to play years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.
- The games (or matches) for ages 6-12 are non-contact, two-handed tag. This allows boys and girls to compete together.  For kids 13 and older, there will be age-grade tackle or touch rugby.
- The coaches are very experienced as youth coaches and as players. The intent is to enjoy the game and to play safe.
- Practices will be held at Seminary Park, Monday and Wednesday from 6:30 to 8pm.
- The matches (games) will be held Saturdays 10am until about 1pm. Home matches are played at Seminary Park and away matches will be posted.
- For details, go to www.ltrc.org/documents/rugby.html

How to do Outdoor Movies:
For the last few years, our street has shown outdoor movies for the kids. We use:
- Portable computer to play the movie
- Laser projector is connected to the computer to project it (new projector costs about $500)
- Computer speakers are hooked to the projector
- Rope is strung between 2 trees. A dark colored tarp is thrown over the rope with a white sheet on top.
