It's Still Not Too Late To March in the 4th of July Parade!

If you still would like to walk in the Towson 4th of July parade this year, please let Janice Moore know.  She is looking for two people who would carry the Rodgers Forge banner at the front.  The community group will be joined by the Rodgers Forge PTA, Cub Pack 439 and staff from the Dumbarton Middle School(DMS).

Originally there was a restriction on the amount of people who could be accommodated but that has been lifted.  Since we will be located at the front of the parade, behind the grand marshall(s), you still would have time to see some of the parade once we are finished walking. 

 

It is a 20 to 25 minute walk, as a group we would meet at DMS at approximately 8:30 am to organize the drive over because we will have passes for parking at the Burkshire.  Also, each walker will be given a flag & water bottle to carry.  We are looking into the possibility of having helium balloons available too for carrying as well.
