have not been sending out the weekly Crime Update reports for the past 2
months due to personal issues including a week stay in the hospital. I
will begin the reports this week. If anyone would like me to pull
together the spot crime from the missed weeks just let me know. The BCPD
report includes as many missed events that were still available to

An Anneslie resident sent me this, and he posted it to their listserv:
"This
morning I observed a white male, in his late 20's early 30's, drive
down my neighbor's driveway, behind his house, get off his bike, and
look in his garage. The guy did not see me sitting on my deck having
coffee.
I got in my car and followed him through our community
while calling the police. This guy was going up peoples driveways,
looking in their houses and garages in broad daylight, approximately
9:30 am. I lost him briefly then caught up with him again coming out
from behind a house on Dunkirk across from the mansion. I followed up to
York Road, where he finally saw me and took off across York and up the
one way side of Overbrook. I met with police on York Road, who had
dispatched about 6-7 cruisers to search for him. He was, as stated, a
thin white male, late 20's early 30's wearing an orange fleece jacket
and grey sweatpants, riding a black earth cruiser style of bike that was
spray painted all black, with no visible logos or markings on the bike.
The
police advised that he was most likely casing houses, yards, and
garages for an opportunity to steal. Just wanted to let everyone know.
I have no updates at this time regarding whether or not he was
apprehended, or if the police found him."
Stolen Vehicles – from Sgt. Fink, BCPD precinct 6
Over
this past weekend one of Towson Precinct's Midnight Shift Officers was
involved in the pursuit and apprehension of a suspect wanted for
operating a stolen vehicle wherein the suspect attempted to injure and
avoid arrest by using the vehicle as a weapon against the Officer. The
suspect was apprehended and the Officer was not injured but the reason
for this email is to alert you and your neighbors that the stolen
vehicle was a Dodge Caravan. For a year or more the Baltimore County
Police Dep't has seen a rise in the number of thefts Dodge Minivans not
only in the central Towson communities but also other areas in the
County. We're asking you to get the word out, especially to those Dodge
Caravan owners to properly secure their vehicles when not in use and if
they can to take extra anti-theft measures (use of a steering wheel
lock, etc) to protect their vehicles. Other residents can keep an extra
eye out in the neighborhoods for any suspicious subjects and call 9-1-1
so that Officers can investigate.

December 2: Homicide, Unit block of Venus Court, 21239
At
2:24 a.m., Bryant Walls, 45, of the 300 block of Pulaski Highway,
21085, was arrested after stabbing his wife and her male acquaintance.
He has been charged with two counts of first degree murder.
December 1: Commercial Burglary, 6300 block of York Road, 21212
At 3:25 a.m., an unknown suspect entered Chipotle through an unlocked door and took money from the manager's office.
December 1: Attempted Murder, 6700 block of Maxalea Road, 21212
At
1:27 a.m., Antonio Green, 16, was arrested after attempting to run over
a Baltimore County police officer during a traffic stop. The suspect
was driving a stolen vehicle, and the officer fired his service weapon
after the suspect rammed the police car several times. The suspect broke
into a shed in the 6900 block of Sherwood Road, 21239, in an attempt to
elude officers.
November 30 to December 1: First Degree Burglary, 6600 block of Glenbarr Court, 21234
Between
7 p.m. on November 30 and 11 p.m. on December 1, an unknown suspect
broke a lock to enter the victim's apartment and take property.
November 30: First Degree Burglary, 900 block of Breezewick Circle, 21286
Between 9:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., an unknown suspect forced open a side door and took money and electronics.
November 30: Robbery, Taylor Avenue and Loch Raven Boulevard, 21234
At
8:17 a.m., two suspects approached the victim. One suspect punched the
victim and took a phone from the victim's hand. The second suspect
picked up the victim's backpack, but the victim was able to get it back.
Both suspects fled on foot. The first suspect is a black male, 17 to 20
years old, 5'2", and 140 pounds. The second suspect is a black male, 17
to 20 years old, 5'7", and 140 pounds.
November 29: First Degree Burglary, 600 block of Yarmouth Road, 21212
Between 9 a.m. and 3:40 p.m., an unknown suspect forced open the rear door and took electronics.
November 29: First Degree Burglary, 1100 block of Kenilworth Drive, 21212
Between 8:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the residence through the rear sliding glass door and took jewelry.
November 29: Attempted First Degree Burglary, 800 block of Providence Road, 21286
Between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., an unknown suspect attempted to pry open the front door and window. Entry was not gained.
November 28: First Degree Burglary, Unit block of Polaris Court, 21234
Between 5 and 7:50 p.m., an unknown suspect forced open the front door and stole electronics, jewelry, money, and clothing.
November 28: First Degree Burglary, 700 block of Shelby Road, 21286
Between
9:30 a.m. and 12:50 p.m., an unknown suspect forced open the rear door
and took electronics, jewelry, flatware, and money.
November 25: Homicide, 7000 block of Lachlan Circle, 21286
At
6:55 p.m., officers responded for a call for a man with a gunshot
wound. The victim was transported to Sinai Hospital, where he later
died. Detectives are investigating.
November 25: Robbery, 6300 block of York Road, 21212
At
8:30 a.m., a man was assaulted by three suspects after they jumped out
at him from behind a dumpster. The suspects took the victim's wallet and
money. The suspects are three black males, 16 to 19 years old.
November 24: Armed Robbery, 200 block of East Joppa Road, 21286
At
2 p.m., the suspect disabled an Exxon fuel pump to steal gas. When the
victim tried to stop him, the suspect displayed a gun and struck the
victim. The suspect fled in a vehicle. The suspect is a black male, 35
to 40 years old.
November 23: First Degree Burglary, 200 block of Blenheim Road, 21212
At
8:05 p.m., a neighbor observed a tall, thin suspect leaving the
victim's residence. Entry was gained through a basement door. It is
unknown if anything was taken.
November 21 to November 26: Fourth Degree Burglary, 1200 block of Dalton Road, 21234
Between 7 p.m. on November 21 and 8 p.m. on November 26, an unknown suspect removed a bike from the deck by cutting a lock.

are reminding the public to secure their vehicles and to make sure that
valuables are not left in the car. We are reminding residents to take
basic crime prevention precautions to help prevent becoming a victim of
opportunity:
- Always lock your vehicle doors.
- Do not keep spare keys anywhere inside the vehicle.
- Avoid leaving valuables or money inside your car.
- Cover or conceal anything of value that you must leave in the car.
- Park your vehicle near your residence if possible, and leave residential lights on.

October 28: First Degree Burglary, 8800 block of Loch Raven Boulevard, 21286
At
5:10 p.m., a suspect entered the room and took a cell phone. There were
no signs of forced entry. The suspect is a black male, 18 to 25 years
old, with an afro.
October 26 to October 27: Commercial Burglary, 6300 block of York Road, 21212
Between
9 p.m. on October 26 and 2:57 a.m. on October 27, an unknown suspect
broke the glass on the front door of Radio Shack. The suspect attempted
to enter an interior room that contained cell phones. The suspect was
not able to enter the room and fled on foot without taking anything.
October 26: Robbery, 400 block of Washington Avenue, 21204
At
5:15 p.m., two suspects knocked the victim to the ground and took his
cell phone. The suspects, two black males, 18 years old, fled northbound
on Washington Avenue.
October 26 to October 27: Fourth Degree Burglary, 300 block of Garden Road, 21286
Between
5 p.m. on October 26 and 8:07 a.m. on October 27, an unknown suspect
took two condenser units from the Donnybrook Apartments.
October 26: Attempted Robbery, York Road and Wilton Road, 21286
At
4:14 p.m., three suspects were arrested after pushing the victim to the
ground and taking a phone from his pocket. Mark Jones, 18, of the 4300
block of Shamrock Avenue, 21213, and two juveniles were arrested and
charged with robbery.
October 26: First Degree Burglary, Unit block of Solar Circle, 21234
Between
6:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the victim's
apartment and took a television. There were no signs of forced entry.
October 25: Commercial Burglary, 7600 block of Bellona Avenue, 21204
At
3:30 a.m., a white male broke into a shed attached to Carroll Fuel.
Nothing was taken. The suspect also searched through two vehicles on the
lot, but did not take anything.
October 25: Fourth Degree Burglary, 1700 block of Edgewood Road, 21234
Between 12:55 and 1:55 a.m., an unknown suspect entered the backyard and took a motor scooter.
October 24: Robbery, 800 block of York Road, 21204
At
7:49 p.m., the suspect removed money from the victim's pocket and fled
northbound on York Road. The victim was able to detain the suspect until
police arrived. Anthony Wallnofer, 26, of the 2000 block of Gallway
Road, 21050, was arrested and charged with robbery.
October 24: First Degree Burglary, 800 block of Trafalgar Road, 21204
At 5:38 p.m., a neighbor observed a suspect enter the victim's home through an attached garage. Nothing was taken.
October 24: First Degree Burglary, 1000 block of Pleasant Oaks Road, 21234
Between
1:30 and 8:30 a.m., an unknown suspect entered the victims' apartment
while they were sleeping and stole a wallet, purse, and money.
October 23: First Degree Burglary, 6500 block of Darnall Road, 21204
Between
12:30 and 5:30 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the home through an
unlocked front door and stole silverware and jewelry.
October 23: First Degree Burglary, 1700 block of Ruxton Road, 21204
Between
10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the home through an
unlocked door and searched through drawers and closets. Nothing was
taken.
October 22 to October 23: Second Degree Burglary, 400 block of Delaware Avenue, 21286
Between
an unknown time on October 22 and an unknown time on October 23, an
unknown suspect entered Tranquilla Hair and Body Spa and stole money and
a computer. There was no evidence of forced entry.
October 22: First Degree Burglary, 700 block of Stevenson Lane, 21286
At
3:05 p.m., the suspect entered through the rear bedroom door and took
coins and china. The suspect is a white male, 40 years old, 5'9", bald,
with a medium build. A resident in the 500 block of Sussex Road, 21286
saw a similar suspect in his backyard prior to the burglary on Stevenson
Lane.
October 21 to October 22: Commercial Burglaries, 1800 block of Cobourg Court, 21234 and 1800 block of Dalhousie Court, 21234
Between
an unknown time on October 21 and 7 a.m. on October 22, an unknown
suspect pried open two laundry room doors at Oakleigh Apartments. The
suspect flipped over laundry machines and stole coins.
