RFCOP Crime Update Week of June 4th - 10th

June 10: Animal Complaint, 1300 block of Taylor Avenue, 21234

At 9:30 p.m., officers responded for an animal complaint. They located a 7' rat snake, and notified Animal Control.

June 9: Attempted Armed Robbery – Gun, unit block of Meteor Court, 21234

At 10:10 p.m., three victims were in front of the home when they were approached by two men armed with handguns. One suspect demanded money from one of the victims. When he refused to comply, the suspect hit him with the gun. The two suspects fled on foot without getting any money. Both suspects are described as black males, 20 to 30 years old, 6’1” tall, and 175 pounds.

June 9: Robbery, Walker Avenue and Holly Lane, 21239

At 4:30 p.m., four suspects surrounded one victim and took his wallet from his pocket. A second victim was punched when he told the suspects he was going to call the police. One 15-year-old male was arrested by responding officers. The other three suspects are described as black male juveniles.

June 7: Armed Robbery, unit block of East Joppa Road, 21204

At 10:56 p.m., a man entered the manager’s office of Trader Joe’s armed with a knife. The suspect struggled with an employee and removed money from a cash drawer. The suspect fled on foot. He is described as a black male, 20 to 30 years old, 5’9” to 5’11” tall, with a medium build.

June 7: First Degree Burglary, 1700 block of Amuskai Road, 21234

At 9:15 a.m., a man was arrested after he broke a rear window to enter the home and take jewelry. He was arrested while still inside the location. Justin Wilkerson, 25, of the 1700 block of Weston Avenue, 21234, was charged with burglary.

June 6: First Degree Burglary, 6800 block of Queensferry Road, 21239

At 3:39 p.m., a man used a chair to climb onto the victim’s balcony and enter the apartment. He demanded money from the victim, but fled on foot when the victim did not have any. The suspect is described as a black male, 30 to 35 years old, 6’ tall, and 170 pounds.

June 6: First Degree Burglary, unit block of Fellowship Court, 21286

Between 2 and 3:15 p.m., an unknown suspect pried open the front door and put electronic equipment on the bed. The victim returned home to find her bedroom door locked and heard noises inside. The bedroom window was open when she was able to get into the room.

June 5: First Degree Burglary, 1900 block of Ruxton Road, 21204

At 12:45 p.m., an unknown suspect broke the window to a side entry door to enter the home. It is unknown if anything is missing at this time.

June 5: Armed Robbery, 8600 Loch Raven Boulevard, 21234

At 2:25 a.m., a man with a knife approached the victim and demanded money. He fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 25 years old, with braided hair.

June 2-4: Second Degree Burglary, 6000 block of Lakeview Road, 21210

Between noon on June 2 and 7 a.m. on June 4, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s garage and removed electronics, glasses, a hat and money from his vehicle.

*** A resident on Glen Argyle reported awakened at 3:00 am on 6/6 with the sound of a dog barking. It was a K-9 dog with several officers in a yard on Glen Argyle.  He called the precinct and the police reported that they caught two subjects going through cars. It's great they caught them. These are often reported after the fact.
