RFCOP Crime Update Week of May 21st - 27th

May 28: Attempted Murder, Loch Raven Boulevard and Loch Bend Drive, 21234
At 2:45 a.m., the victim was standing on Loch Raven Boulevard near the Welcome Inn when a vehicle with multiple people approached. The passenger, a black male, fired out the window of the car, striking the victim. The victim was transported to the hospital, and is currently listed in critical but stable condition.
May 26: First Degree Assault – Gun, White Oak Avenue and Oakleigh Road, 21234
At 2:30 p.m., a man pointed a gun at two victims while they sat in a vehicle. The suspect was located nearby and found to be in possession of a weapon. Terrence Cassidy, 22, of the 1600 block of Yakona Road, 21286 was arrested and charged with assault and weapons violations.
May 24: Armed Robbery, Loch Raven Boulevard and Sayward Avenue, 21234
At 10:27 p.m., two suspects approached the victim, assaulted her, and took her hoodie and cell phone. The suspects were located and arrested. Cierra Stepney, 17, of the 800 block of Bethume Road, 21225 was charged with armed robbery, robbery, assault and theft. Keyaira Summers, 23, was arrested and charged with assault.
May 24: Possible Sex Offense, unit block of York Road, 21204
At 4:52 a.m., officers responded to the home for a report of a possible sexual assault. Detectives are asking anyone who may have seen a black male, in his 30s, bald, approximately 5’10” to 6’2” tall, with a medium build to please call 410-307-2020.
May 23: First Degree Burglary, 6600 block of Glenbarr Court, 21234
Between 2:30 and 3:45 a.m., an unknown suspect entered the apartment through an opened window after attempting to pry the screen door. Money was taken.
May 22: First Degree Burglary, 700 block of York Road, 21286
Between 4:30 and 11:45 p.m., an unknown suspect forced open the front door of the apartment and removed money, jewelry and clothing.
May 21: Armed Robbery – Gun, 8100 block of LaSalle Road, 21286
At 1:10 p.m., three suspects approached the victims and two suspects displayed handguns. The suspect demanded personal property, and fled on foot with electronics. The suspects are described as three black males, 17 to 20 years old. One suspect has a scar above his left eye.
