RFCOP Crime Update Week of April 30th - May 6th

Thefts from Autos:
On Monday 5/7 PC06 Units arrested two juveniles operating a stolen truck in the area of Loch Raven Blvd.  Upon searching the truck the Officers found property that belonged to residents of the Rodgers Forge and Stoneleigh Communities so now what we're asking of you is to let your neighbors know of the recovery and if they were a victim.

May 5: Second Degree Burglary, 6300 block of Mossway Road, 21212
Between 7:30 and 10:30 p.m., an unknown suspect entered a locked shed and stole a lawn mower.
May 5: Fourth Degree Burglary/Grand Theft Motor Scooter, 8300 block of Ridgely Oak Road, 21234
Between 7:30 and 8 a.m., a black male in his 20s removed a scooter from the victim’s fenced in back yard.
May 5: Kidnapping/Armed Robbery, Pennsylvania Avenue and York Road, 21204
At 2:15 a.m., a man reported that two suspects approached him and one displayed a knife. They demanded money, and the victim gave them all his money. They forced him to walk to a nearby ATM at Allegheny and Washington Avenue, and withdraw additional money. The suspects fled the area on foot. The first suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, 6’ tall, with a muscular build, and medium/dark skin. The second suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, 6’3” tall, with a muscular build and medium/dark skin.
May 4-5: Fourth Degree Burglary, 8200 block of Pleasant Plains Road, 21234
Between 8 p.m. on May 4 and 7:30 a.m. on May 5, an unknown suspect stole four white plastic lawn chairs from a fenced in backyard.
May 3-4: First Degree Burglary, 1300 block of Deanwood Road, 21234
Between 10 p.m. on May 3 to 2:30 p.m. on May 4, a known suspect entered the home and removed electronics.
May 3: First Degree Burglary, 900 block of Fairmount Avenue, 21204
Between 8 a.m. and 7:20 p.m., an unknown suspect stole money after breaking the glass of a basement door to enter the home.
May 3: Attempted First Degree Burglary, 1300 block of Locust Avenue, 21204
At 5:30 a.m., the victim woke up to her alarm sounding. She found her rear door ajar and wet footprints on her deck. Money had been taken from her vehicles.
May 3: Grand Theft Auto, unit block of Acorn Circle, 21286
Between 12:15 and 6:47 a.m., the victim’s 2007 Toyota Camry, credit cards, and electronics were stolen by an acquaintance.
April 30: Armed Robbery – Gun, Hillsway Avenue and Halstead Road, 21234
At 11:20 p.m., a man was walking home from work when he was approached by two suspects. One suspect was armed with a handgun. The victim attempted to run when they demanded his property. One suspect tackled the victim and struck him with the gun. The suspects fled with the victim’s bag, which contained personal property and electronics. The first suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 23 years old, 5’8” tall, 165 pounds, with a medium build and medium complexion. The second suspect is described as a black male, 18 to 20 years old, 5’10” tall, 150 pounds, with a medium build and medium complexion.
April 30: Attempted Rape, Towsontown Boulevard and Virginia Avenue, 21286
At 10 p.m., a woman reported that she had been sitting in a gazebo at the Towson Manor Park with four men. She observed one of the men putting on a condom, and stood up to leave. She reports that two other men grabbed her arms, and tried to pull her pants down. She was able to run away and call 911. One suspect is described as a black male, in his early 20s with dreadlocks. The other three suspects are described as black males, 18 to 20 years old.
April 30: Commercial Burglary, 1600 block of West Joppa Road, 21204
At 3:11 a.m., a man used a crowbar to break into the Royal Farm store. The suspect stole 37 cartons of cigarettes. The suspect is described as a white male, 5’10" tall, and 180 pounds.
April 29-30: Commercial Burglary, 700 block of Dulaney Valley Road, 21204
Between 12:45 p.m. on April 29 and 9 a.m. on April 30, an unknown suspect entered Express Title Services by unknown means and stole computer equipment.
April 27-30: Fourth Degree Burglary, unit block of Pennsylvania Avenue, 21286
Between 5 p.m. on April 27 and 3 p.m. on April 30, an unknown suspect cut the lock to a gate and removed an air conditioning unit.
