Police Arrest Suspects in Regional Auto Theft Ring

Suspects Believed to be Responsible for Multiple Thefts of Automobile Airbags

Baltimore County, Md. (March 4, 2011) - Baltimore County Police have arrested and charged three suspects in multiple thefts of car airbags and other auto parts in Baltimore County. The men are identified as:

  • Christian Ariel Pujols-Martinez, 24, of the 7400-block of Long Branch Drive, 20784
  • Maurico Antonio Majano, 32, of the 9300-block of Decator Place, 20723
  • Dremmier Reinsoso-Silvestre, 26, of the 4900-block of 70th Place, 20784

On February 22, Baltimore County officers assigned to Precinct 4/Pikesville apprehended the three suspects when a citizen notified 911 of a theft in progress in the unit-block of Stonehenge Circle, 21208. Police investigation revealed that a burglary had been committed in the 9000-block of Brynmar Court, 21208. The suspects had broken into a garage and stripped an automobile of its doors, dash and airbag.

Regional Investigation

The investigation has expanded to include Prince Georges County, Howard County, Anne Arundel County and the Maryland State Police. Some of the recovered property has been linked to a string of thefts in Howard County, as well as parts stripped from stolen vehicles in Prince Georges County. The investigation has been turned over to the Regional Auto Theft Task Force.

The suspect, Christian Ariel Pujols-Martinez, has been released on $35,000 bail. The suspects, Maurico Antonio Majano and Dremmier Reinsoso-Silvestre, have both been released on $50,000 bail; however, both have been taken into custody by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency.

Stolen UPS packages reported from Wiltondale COP:

I just wanted you to be aware that I have just found out about numerous UPS packages that have been stolen from front porches in Wiltondale. They all seem to have occurred on and after 2/22. Two from a residence on York Rd., one on Worcester, one on Yarmouth Rd and one on Sussex Rd. (on the 23rd).

The suspects entered location and made purchase. One of the suspects displayed a handgun. The suspects robbed the victim of property. The suspects walked the victim to back of location saying stay there or risk getting shot. The suspects fled on foot. M/B, 40’s, 6-0, 165, facial hair, white poncho. M/B, 30’s, 6-0, 180, facial hair, black hooded sweatshirt, and a black aviation cap.
