RFCOP Crime Update Week of Feb 21st - Feb 28th

Rodgers Forge’s Chance To Chat With The Chief:

Baltimore County Police Chief James Johnson will be at the next Rodgers Forge Community meeting on Wednesday March 9th at 7:00 pm.

This is a rare opportunity to have an open discussion with the Chief Johnson concerning safety issues. Chief Johnson is scheduled to speak after the beginning of the meeting which begins at 7pm at the Rodgers Forge Elementary School cafeteria.

If you have a question for Chief Johnson and are unable to attend the meeting, please email RFCOP Co-Leader Karen Falconer at lovinlife6501@verizon.net and the questions will be forwarded to the chief at the meeting.

The Rodgers Forge Citizens on Patrol encourages you and your neighbors to be present to take part in this rare opportunity. See you at the meeting.

Two suspects approached the victim from behind. The suspects were wearing ski mask and physically shook the victim. They took the victim’s property and asked the victim if he had any money. The victim did not have any money and the suspects fled. 2-M/B’s, NFD

02/26/11 1445 11-057-1061 Armed Robbery 1000 block Taylor Ave.

An unknown suspect entered the location and approached the cashier. The suspect stated, "I know you got the key and I know you don’t want me to hurt you. So open the drawer and give me the money.” The suspect took cash and left on foot. The suspect implied he had a hand gun under his shirt. M/B, 30’s, 5-1, 180, black hair, brown eyes, grey hoodie, and jeans.

The victim was in the back bed room when he observed the suspect standing in his living room. The victim asked the suspect what he was doing. The suspect stated he had the wrong apartment and left. The suspect then went to the apartment next door and tried to open the door. The victim told the suspect he leases that apartment also. The suspect again stated he had the wrong apartment, and left the building with two other subjects. The victim noticed that property was taken from the living room. M/B, 6-0, med. build, long dreads, baseball cap and dark clothing.

An unknown suspect entered the rear of the building through a ventilation duct. No items were taken. Ceiling tiles were broken and were found on the floor. Unknown
