Summer Baseball Activities for Fans Young and Old Alike

  • College Summer Baseball Games:
    • College wood bat summer baseball is back.
    • The Baltimore Redbirds is the local team in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League.
    • Home games are played at Calvert Hall "under the lights" 6:30pm at Carlo Crispino Baseball Stadium, located at the corner of LaSalle Rd & Putty Hill Ave.
    • It's FREE.

  • “Kids Run the Bases” at Camden Yards
    • August 12, Sundays, AFTER the game.
    • Fans 14 and under are invited to line up outside of Gate D at the top of the 7th inning to go on-field and run the bases after the game.
    • Registration is not needed.
    • There is no charge.
 
 
  • Summer Pick-up Baseball Games for Kids:
    • Runs from June 25 to August 23, every Monday and Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the filed on the corner of Stevenson Lane and Stanmore Road.
    • Whoever shows up, plays.
    • The kids (usually from ages 5 to 16yo) pick the teams and make the rules. Adults are not allowed to participate. Kids make the decisions and hone their social skills.
    • FREE. Registration not required.
    • Bring your bat, glove, ball, water, chewing gum, and a love of the game.
    • Catcher’s equipment and batters helmets will be provided.
 
  • Summer Pick-up Baseball Games for Adults:
    • Runs from July 11 to August 22, every Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
    • Whoever shows up, plays.
    • FREE. Registration not required.
    • Games are played on the field located on the corner of Stanmore Rd and Stevenson
    • Bring your bat, glove, ball, water, ice, aspirin, and a love of the game.
    • Catcher’s equipment and batters helmets will be provided.
