April 21: Armed Robbery - Gun, 6200 block of North Charles Street, 21212
At
12:40 p.m., an employee of Starbucks was making a bank deposit. A man
approached the victim from behind, displayed a handgun, and demanded the
money. The suspect fled on foot. He is described as a male, dark
complexion, 5’10” tall, 160 pounds.
April 21: Second Degree Arson, 8600 block of Rock Oak Road, 21234
Between
6:30 and 6:35 a.m., an unknown suspect set a 1999 Ford Ranger on fire.
The vehicle was unoccupied and parked on the street.
April 20: Bank Robbery – Armed, unit block of West Chesapeake Avenue, 21204
At
3:30 p.m., a man entered the Wells Fargo Bank and passed a note to the
bank teller demanding money, and implied that he had a weapon. The
suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is
described as a white male, 25 to 35 years old, 6’ tall, 170 pounds, with
short brown hair. This suspect is believed to be the same man
responsible for four other bank robberies in the Towson area.
April 20: Fourth Degree Burglary, unit block of Burkleigh Road, 21204
At
5:11 a.m., residents of a home called to report that a man entered
their home through an unlocked back door and urinated on clothing in a
suitcase in the dining room. Timothy Flynn, 24, of the 100 block of East
Burke Avenue, 21204 was arrested and charged with burglary and
destruction of property.
April 17: First Degree Assault, Cromwell Bridge Road and Loch Raven Boulevard, 21286
At
11:47 p.m., an officer attempted to stop a vehicle traveling at a high
rate of speed. The vehicle was found to have stolen tags. The driver
attempted to ram a police car, and the suspects bailed out of the car
inside the city line after a short pursuit. One suspect cut an officer
on the hand with a knife during the arrest. The vehicle was found to be
stolen as well, and two BB guns were recovered in the car. Allen
Jackson, 19, of the 600 block of E. 36th Street, 21218 and Darryl Irby,
23, of the 1900 block of Mountain Avenue, 21234 were arrested and
charged. A 16-year-old was also charged as a juvenile.
April 17: Attempted First Degree Burglary, unit block of Wilfred Court, 21286
Between
6:30 and 6:57 a.m., a witness observed a man attempting to enter a home
by a rear basement door. Julius Conley, 23, of no fixed address was
located by responding officers and arrested. He is facing burglary
charges.
