*** TRASH COLLECTION UPDATE ***

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING TRASH & RECYCLING COLLECTION IN BALTIMORE COUNTY (February 16, 2010)

Effective Wednesday, February 17 and until further notice -- residents who normally have alley collection for trash and recycling should place those materials out as scheduled, but at their front street.

Trash and recycling will be collected from the front streets where these items are both clearly accessible and visible to the collector. Residents should leave their materials out until collection occurs.

The County will issue another announcement when conditions permit a return to collection in alleys.

Also, all three of the County's trash and recycling drop-off centers are open regular hours.

Please pass this information to anyone you know who might be affected by this temporary change

  1. Is the Association going to be contacting the County about getting them to actually pick up the trash? They did not pick up recycling today even with it out on the street on Overbrook as requested.

  2. I live in the 400 block of Hopkins Road. My neighbor is having work done to his house. The contractor's pickup truck came down the alley to drop off materials. If the pickup truck can maybe, perhaps alley trash removal can be resumed.
