Crime Is Not Welcome In Towson!

“Crime is Not Welcome in Towson”. This is a catch phrase used by the Towson Area Citizens On Patrol. It’s likely a sentiment shared by all law abiding residents in Baltimore County. Unfortunately, there are still some who see opportunity in our beautiful neighborhoods and relaxed stance on crime.

The Baltimore County Police and our elected officials have made great strides in lowering crime numbers in Baltimore County. While it’s their obligation to do so, they can still use the assistance of the community in identifying suspicious activity. This can be participating in a Citizens On Patrol group or being a bit more aware on that morning jog. We as residents, know best when something looks out of the ordinary in the streets we live on. If you see something, say something. Call 911 to report anything suspicious. Anyone can be the eyes and ears for our law enforcement officers.

There are a number of resources available to Towson residents to interact with law enforcement and assist in keeping crime out of Towson. I’d encourage you to take advantage of these resources.
