Suspicious Activity Notice

From Sgt Fink of the Baltimore County Police Department:

"
Please advise your neighbors of this and follow the lead of the resident.
On 3/11 a resident of Copeleigh Rd, 21212 had a young (20's) African-American male knock on her door claiming to be a BGE representative asking to view her recent BGE bill. When the resident asked to see his identification first the young man could not produce any and was told to leave by the resident which he did.  Another resident on Copeleigh Rd was also approached by two young African-American males making the same request.
Please remind your family and neighbors to always request identification of anyone coming to their door requesting information or aid, if they're legitimate they'll have no problem producing it.  If necessary the Agency (BGE, Comcast, Verizon, etc) can always be contacted too to verify their representatives. Don't give out information to anyone you're not familiar with or recognize.  Call 9-1-1 when suspicious persons of this type are in your community so that our Officers can respond and identify them.
Thanks, Sgt Fink, PC06 COT"
