Nearby Delivery Thefts

Last week and again this week PC06 Officers have taken several reports of thefts of packages delivered to residences by delivery companies where the packages were left by the front door then removed by unknown person/s.  Presently these thefts have occurred in the communities in west Towson, primarily along the Charles St corridor but due to the nature of this crime any community could be targeted by those responsible.  All reported thefts thus far have been made by the homeowner upon their return thus there is no known suspect descriptions presently.  What we're asking of you as community leaders and residents is just to get the word out to you neighbors to be aware of this activity keep an eye out and should you see someone removing a package from a residence please call 9-1-1 so Officers can respond.  Descriptions of those responsible and any possible vehicles would greatly benefit our investigations.  Not asking for anyone to intervene or put themselves in harms way but just be observant and notify us.
