There have been several emails circulating around the area saying that, despite the recent burglaries in Rodgers Forge and surrounding communities, some people just don't think it could happen to them.
It could happen to you!
The people commiting these crimes are "professionals". These are not crimes of opportunity.
These bad guys are targeting specific houses for one reason or another (maybe they have noticed windows/doors being left open/unlocked, boxes from the fancy new $1000 TV in the trash out back, few or no outside lights on at night, etc.).
One of the best attributes of Rodgers Forge has always been neighbors looking out for neighbors. Don't be a victim, and watch out for your neighbors. Share the message and encourage everyone to keep an eye out.
If you see anything out or place or suspicious, CALL THE POLICE!
