101 York "PUD" Community Input Meeting

Updated info from GTCCA:

The Community Input Meeting for the 101 York Planned Unit Development (PUD) will be:Tuesday, September 9, 7:00 PM, at the Towson Library, 320 York Road.

101 York is the proposed 15-story project on the west side of York Road between Starbucks and Jiffy Lube that will include 611 beds of student housing, 495 parking spaces, and 9,000 sq ft of retail space. The building and parking garage will extend behind the Towson University Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. The adjacent communities of Aigburth Manor Association of Towson, Towson Manor Village, Burkleigh Square, Southland Hills, and the Greater Towson Council of Community Associations have all opposed this project, as has the Towson American Legion. That stretch of York Road needs redevelopment, but 101 York will negatively affect the surrounding communities and is NOT the appropriate project for that site.

Please attend the meeting to find out more about the project and let your opinion be heard.
