GTCCA and the Towson American Legion are holding a rally on
Thursday this week (May 15) to protest the impending 101 York project,
which GTCCA has voted to oppose. The rally is from 4:30pm to 6:00pm and
will consist of Legion members and residents of the
surrounding communities and will take place on York Road in front of 101
York Road. Using signs and placards we will attempt to have our voices
heard by local media, passing motorists, and especially by members of
the Baltimore County Council.
We will first assemble at
about 4:00 PM
in the American Legion parking lot and then move as a group south on
York Road to
the space between Jiffy Lube and Starbucks. Even if you can only
participate for 1/2 hour between 4:30 and 6:00, please come and support
the Towson community.
Parking is available on the Towson
American Legion lot -- the entrance is between Pizza Palace and Papa
John's/Dunkin' Donuts on the west side of York Road.
Please distribute this information throughout your community.
