Blue Water Baltimore is the non-profit that has provided free trees and tree planting in RF and other communities for the last several years. They are dedicated to the protection and restoration of all of the Baltimore regions watersheds and Baltimore Harbor. Patronizing their nursery and other services will help to support their mission which also helps support the projects in our own communities
Herring Run Nursery opens to retail customers on Sunday, April 6th!
Blue Water Baltimore is excited to announce the Spring 2014 retail sale dates for Herring Run Nursery, our native plant nursery.Spring is in the air, and April is a fantastic time to plant native shrubs, trees, vines, and many shade-loving perennials.
The great news is that every year, more and more customers are discovering the wildlife and environmental benefits of native plants!
Herring Run Nursery offers Baltimore's best retail selection of native plants: nearly 150 species of native trees and shrubs and up to 100 species of native flowers and grasses.
This Spring we will be open for more retail sales than ever before, from 11am to 4pm on the following dates:
- Sunday, April 6th
- Saturday, April 12th
- Saturday, April 19th
- Saturday, April 26th
- Sunday, April 27th
- Saturday, May 3rd
- Sunday, May 11th
- Sunday, May 18th
- Sunday, May 25th
- Saturday, May 31st
- Sunday, June 1st
- Sunday, June 8th
- Saturday, June 14th
