RFCOP Crime report update Dec 17-30, 2012

Due to the days the holidays fell on we have combined the Christmas week and New Years week reports together.  They are as follows.

December 29: Armed Robbery, 8100 block of Barksdale Road, 21234

At 10:10 p.m., the suspect approached the victim and implied that he had a weapon. The suspect punched the victim several times and took her purse. The suspect is a black male, 35 to 40 years old, 5'11", and 180 pounds.

December 29: Armed Robbery, Unit block of Solar Circle, 21234

At 7:50 p.m., three suspects approached the victim and removed him from his car at gunpoint. The suspects took money, a phone, and the victim's jacket. The victim ran away, and the suspects shot at him several times but did not strike him. The suspects are three black males, 16 to 20 years old.

December 29: Third Degree Burglary, 200 block of Rodgers Forge Road, 21212

At 2:55 a.m., a man was arrested after forcing his way into his ex-girlfriend's apartment. Benjamin Yancheski, 23, of the 14000 block of Sunnybrook Road, 21131, was arrested and charged with burglary.

December 28: Robbery, 800 block of Goucher Boulevard, 21286

At 8:09 p.m., two suspects approached the victim at the bus stop and used force to take her phone and her purse. The first suspect is a black male, in his 20s, 5'10", 140 pounds, with a medium build. The second suspect is a black male, in his 20s, 5'7", and 140 pounds.

December 28: Armed Robbery/Carjacking, 1500 block of Shoemaker Road, 21212

At 3:10 a.m., two suspects approached a man as he unlocked a business door. The suspects placed a hard object against his back and forced him back into his vehicle. The suspects made the victim drive them to Baltimore City. They demanded the victim's bank card and his code, and one suspect used the card at an ATM. The suspects then told the victim to get out of the vehicle, and they drove away in his 2006 Ford Taurus. The first suspect is a black male, 19 to 25 years old, with a medium build. The second suspect is a black male, 19 to 25 years old, and 6' tall.

December 27: Grand Theft Auto - Recovered , 900 block of Foxridge Lane, 21221

At 4:12 p.m., an officer on patrol at Loch Raven Boulevard and East Joppa Road ran a wanted check on a vehicle. The vehicle was listed as stolen. Three female juveniles were arrested after a traffic stop.

December 25 to December 27: Commercial Burglary, 6600 block of Loch Raven Boulevard, 21239

Between 1 a.m. on December 25 and 8:30 a.m. on December 27, an unknown suspect broke the side glass door to enter the Loch Raven United Methodist Church. Nothing was reported missing.

December 25: Commercial Burglary, 6200 block of North Charles Street, 21212

Between 12:46 and 1:18 a.m., two suspects broke the lock on the front door of the Exxon station. The suspects cut open the ATM and removed money. Both suspects are white males with medium builds.

December 24: Robbery, 1200 block of Wakeford Road, 21234

At 7:20 p.m., two suspects approached the victim and pushed him to the ground. The suspects punched the victim and took his cellular phone and car keys. The first suspect is a black male, 5'10", with a slim build. The second suspect is a black male, 5'9", with a slim build.

December 23: Armed Robbery, LaSalle Road and East Joppa Road, 21286

At 2 a.m., an unknown suspect approached the victim and hit him with a pipe. The suspect took the victim's umbrella and cellular phone.

December 21: Commercial Burglary, 900 block of Taylor Avenue, 21286

At 4:20 a.m., five unknown suspects broke the plate glass window of Radio Shack. The suspects destroyed display cases, but nothing appears to be missing.

December 21: Second Degree Burglary, 6600 block of English Oak Road, 21234

Between 4 and 4:30 a.m., a man broke into four laundry machines and damaged coin boxes. Karim Cunningham, 36, of the 4200 block of Ivanhoe Avenue, 21212, was arrested and charged with burglary.

December 20 to December 21: Second Degree Burglary, 6600 block of English Oak Road, 21234

Between an unknown time on December 20 and 2 p.m. on December 21, an unknown suspect broke into laundry room machines and took coins.

December 19: First Degree Burglary, 1800 block of Briarcliff Road, 21234

At 7:15 a.m., an unknown suspect broke the glass to a rear sliding door. Two cameras were taken.

December 19: Attempted Burglary, 7100 block of Wardman Road, 21212

Between 3 and 7 a.m., an unknown suspect attempted to pry open a rear door. Entry was not gained.

December 18 to December 19: Second Degree Burglary, 6600 block of Collinsdale Road, 21234

Between 5 p.m. on December 18 and 2 p.m. on December 19, an unknown suspect broke into a laundry room belonging to Henderson-Webb Apartments. Coins were taken.

December 18: Attempted Robbery - Unverified, 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road, 21286

At 7:45 p.m., a woman asked a restaurant hostess to call 911 so that she could report a robbery. The victim left prior to police arrival and could not be located.

December 18: Robbery, unit block of Lambourne Road, 21286

At 7:30 p.m., two suspects pushed a woman to the ground and stole her purse. Both suspects are described as black males, 15 to 18 years old.

December 17: Carjacking, 6300 block of Sherwood Road, 21239

At 4 p.m., a man approached the victim and demanded his vehicle. The suspect fled in the victim's vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered in Baltimore City. The suspect is a black male, in his 20s, 6', and 180 pounds.
