RFCOP Crime Update Week of November 28th - December 4th

Just 18 Days until Christmas and Crime increases each day:

As you see below crime is rising as the holidays approach. Please reference past crime reports about identity theft, securing your home and automobiles, keeping a watch out for your neighbors, shopping safely, and turning those lights on. If you need any copies of the past reports just reply to this email and I would be happy to send you whatever information you would like…. Identity theft, Safe holiday Shopping, Keeping your home/automobiles secure. We will be patrolling as much as possible as a further deterrent during the next few weeks. As always, if you see something suspicious DO NOT HESITATE to call 911.

The suspect jumped out of a maroon Ford 4dr approached the victim. The suspect held an unknown object to the victim’s back and stated, “Give me what you got.” The victim gave the suspect property. The suspect jumped back into the car which was driven by a second suspect. M/W, 20’s, 510, 200 dark jacket, baseball cap

12/03/11 2217 11-337-1584 Armed Robbery (Gun) Side of 7700 block Greenview Tr. 21204

The victims walked up the stairway that leads from Cross Campus Drive to the side parking lot of the 7700 block Greenview Terrace; they were met by the suspects, who were walking down the stairway. Suspect #1 produced a handgun and told the victims to empty their pockets. The victims gave Suspect #2 their property. Each victim then asked if they could have their property returned. Suspect #2 removed cash from the victim’s wallets, and then returned the property. The suspects fled west on Cross Campus Drive. Suspect #1 – M/B/20-25/6”/Med. Build/Dreadlocks/Knit hat, gray and black coat Suspect #2 – M/B/20-25/5’8”/Med build/Dark clothing, blue and yellow knit hat

The suspect entered the residence and removed property from a bedroom dresser. The suspect also removed property from the closet. There were no signs of forced entry Unknown

11/14/11-12/01/11 0900-1830 11-335-1358 1st Degree Burglary Unit block Neptune Ct. 21234

The suspects pried open the rear sliding door to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect stole property and threw syrup, mayonnaise, and tomato sauce on the walls, floor, and furniture. The suspects took the victim’s vehicle when they left the residence. Unknown

12/02/11 0630-1830 11-336-1434 1st Degree Burglary 900 block Southerly Rd. 21204

The victim returned home from work and went into her closet to change. She advised that while she was in the closet, she noticed property was missing. There were no signs of forced entry and all the victims keys were accounted for. The only items that appeared to be moved were the clothes the victim used to conceal the property. Unknown

12/03/11-12/04/11 0530-1915 11-338-1152 3rd Degree Burglary 900 block Beaverbank Circle. 21286

When the victims returned, they found the first floor of their house had been ransacked. A window in the rear of the home was broken, unlocked, and left open. A window pane in a “French Door” that separated the office and rest of the house was also broken and the door was unlocked. A safe, located in the office, had been forced open. There were also drawers, closets, and cabinets in the office and bedrooms that were opened. No property was taken. All doors and windows were locked before the victims left the location. Unknown

12/04/11 1600-1945 11-338-1326 1st Degree Burglary 7300 block Knollwood Rd. 21286

The suspect pried a window open and removed property. The suspect placed the property on the ground outside the location where it was recovered. Nothing else was disturbed. It appeared the suspect did not enter the residence. Unknown

The victim was at her residence with several friends, and the suspect. At approximately 2230 hours, two of the friends went to the store and a third went to the bathroom. At that time, the victim was preparing to go to bed. The suspect came into the victim’s bedroom, pushed her onto the bed, and pulled her pants down. The victim struggled and attempted to kick the suspect. The suspect penetrated the victim vaginally and forced intercourse. The suspect remained at the residence after the incident. The report was taken at 0053 hours at GBMC. M/B/20’s
