RFC Board Elections - Candidate Submission Deadline July 14th
The annual elections are coming up for the RFC, Inc Board of Governors at the September Annual Meeting of the Association. There are 11 seats up for election this year. In order to throw your name in to the hat, you must submit a letter notifying the election committee of your interest to run as well as a biographical questionnaire no later than July 14th, 2014. The applications must be mailed or hand delivered to:

Rodgers Forge Annual Picnic - THIS SATURDAY 6/14!
This year's picnic will be at the triangle by the Tot Lot and will be

Between
12:30 and 1:30 p.m., an unknown suspect broke the glass to the rear
sliding door to gain entry. The suspect stole a box of costume jewelry.
At
11:26 p.m., the suspects approached the victims at the bus stop and
pointed handguns at them. The suspects advised them to empty their
pockets. The suspects obtained a cell phone and headphones from the
victims.
Sometime
between 2:30 a.m. on June 4 and 9:30 a.m. on June 6, unknown suspects
entered the residence and removed two televisions. There were no signs
of forced entry.
At
9:45 p.m., the suspect entered the victim’s apartment through the
unlocked front door. The victim advised that the suspect demanded money
from him. The suspect removed $200 from a cup and left the apartment.
The suspect came back to the apartment while police were there. The
suspect was taken into custody and the money was recovered.
At
2:40 p.m., two unknown subjects fired handguns at each other. One of
the bullets hit a window at 30 Solar Circle. A gray Chevy Malibu was
seen speeding from the scene.
Between
2:30 and 6:30 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the residence by unknown
means. Once inside, the suspect entered the bedroom and emptied a jar
of coins into the victim’s book bag and removed the items from the
residence.
At
1:30 a.m. , suspects with black hooded sweatshirts with the hoods
pulled tight around their faces approached the victim and demanded
money. The suspects fled the scene with an unknown amount of money.
Sometime
between 10 p.m. on June 1 and 8 a.m. on June 2, an unknown suspect cut
the lock of a “Pods” storage container and removed three flat screen
televisions.
At
5:49 p.m., the suspect approached the counter at the Radio Shack and
asked for cash. The suspect had his hand in his waistband which caused
the employee to believe that the suspect had a gun. The suspect fled the
scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
Around
noon, the suspect used a makeshift knife to stab the victim on the
right side of his head and right shoulder. The suspect and victim are
both inmates at Baltimore County Detention Center.
At
5:52 a.m., the suspect rang the front door bell. The suspect then went
to the rear door and ripped the screen in an attempt to enter the
residence. The suspect was located and taken into custody.
Around 10 p.m., the suspect entered the apartment through the unlocked side window. The suspect removed a TV and video game.
At 10:30 a.m., an unknown suspect attempted to enter the apartment by prying the strike plate on the front door.
At
6:18 a.m., the suspects entered the Royal Farms Store and pointed a
handgun at an employee. The suspects took cash and fled the scene.
Around
3:45 a.m., the suspect entered the enclosed patio area and attempted to
enter the apartment by breaking the sliding glass door window.
At
2:52 a.m., two suspects pointed a gun at the victims and demanded
money. The suspects took cash and a purse before fleeing the scene.
Around
1 a.m., two males were drinking and got into an altercation, which
became physical. They were struggling over a razor knife and both of
them received lacerations to their hands. The incident was captured on
cell phone video by a witness. Both subjects were arrested.
At
approximately 7:15 p.m., the victim was walking through the rear of the
Drumcastle center when he was approached by three suspects. The
suspects assaulted the victim and tried to go through his pockets, but
did not get any money from him.
Sometime
between noon on May 29 and 11:38 a.m. on May 30, the suspect entered
the location by breaking the glass to the rear door. Nothing appears to
be missing.
At
approximately 10:10 p.m., the suspects knocked at the door to the
victim's room at the Comfort Inn. The suspects then forced their way
inside. One of the suspects presented a knife and told the victim to lie
on the floor. The suspects took money and fled the location.
Sometime
between 9 p.m. on May 28 and 11 a.m. on May 29, an unknown suspect
broke the glass to the rear sliding door. The victims advised that
nothing appeared to be missing. The only thing they noticed out of place
was a bag of French fries had been removed from the freezer.
At
approximately 1 p.m., seven unknown suspects walked into an apartment
though an unlocked door. One of the victims gave the suspects his cell
phone and the other victim gave the suspect his cell phone after he was
assaulted.
At
10:15 a.m., the suspect approached the victim as she was getting into
her car. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded property. The
suspect took a purse, cell phone, cash, and car key before fleeing the
scene. The suspect was later located after a traffic stop and taken into
custody. The only properly that was not recovered was a cell phone.
Sometime
between 12:30 and 4:30 p.m., an unknown suspect entered through an
unlocked apartment door and removed the victim’s iPad.
Sometime
between 3 p.m. on May 26 and 3 p.m. on June 2, the suspect used an
unknown tool to punch a hole in the door of a storage locker to remove
the padlock and hinge. The suspect removed several bottles of laundry
detergent, dryer sheets and paper towels.
At
5:18 a.m., two unknown suspects wearing ski masks entered the Royal
Farms with a rifle and demanded the manager open the safe. A customer
pulled on the lot and the suspects fled. The rifle and some clothing
were recovered close by.
Sometime
between noon on May 24 and 7:30 p.m. on May 27, an unknown suspect used
a metal garden stick to try and pry open a shed door at the hasp. The
hasp bent, but no entry was gained into the shed.
At
9:41 p.m., an unknown suspect attempted to grab the victim’s cell phone
from his hand. A struggle ensued and the victim was stabbed on the
right forearm.
Sometime
between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the room and
removed cash and clothing. There were no signs of forced entry.
Sometime
between 10:30 p.m. on May 18 and 6 a.m. on May 19, the suspect used an
unknown tool to pry open the rear basement door and enter the residence.
The suspect removed several televisions, DVD players, laptop and tablet
computers, sound equipment, and a collection of $2 bills.
Sometime
between 10:30 p.m. on May 18 and 9:30 a.m. on May 20, the suspect used
an unknown tool to pry open the front door. The suspect removed two
televisions, a video game system, 80 DVDs, jewelry, clothing and
appliances.
At
6:20 p.m., two juveniles forced their way into the residence to assault
the juvenile victim. The suspects were taken into custody.
