The Safe Routes to School Committee of the Rodgers Forge Community Association is hosting a public forum next Wednesday, January 30, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the library of RFES.
We will be sharing the results of a survey of parents and students taken
last year, reviewing the committee’s initial take on the issues and
challenges related to walking and biking to and from school, presenting
ideas on how to improve the drop-off system for parents who drive their
kids to school, and soliciting your input on these ideas.
The program will be divided into two parts: a presentation by the
committee, and a break-out discussion among the participants,
facilitated by committee members.
This is your chance to get involved directly in our efforts, shape how
our children get to and from school safely, and have your opinions be
heard.
