Message From Councilman Marks Re: Recent Robberies

This afternoon, I spoke with Captain Trentzsch from the Towson police precinct regarding the series of robberies in Towson this week.

 

I know many parents are particularly concerned about the incidents that targeted students walking from school:

Residents with any information are asked to call 911.   The police believe a Silver Pontiac may have been involved, and that both these incidents are related.   There is a good description of the suspect in the Patch article. 

 

School Resource Officers have been engaged in this process and the precinct is doing everything it can.  I've called Stu Sirota, the president of Rodgers Forge Community Association, and Cheri Pegues, the president of Dumbarton PTA, and am available to help in any way.
