September 29: Armed Robbery - Gun, 8500 block of Loch Raven Boulevard, 21286
At
5:13 a.m., two suspects entered the 7-Eleven and one suspect displayed a
handgun. The other suspect took money from the register and they fled
on foot. The first suspect is a black female, 20 to 25 years old, 5'5",
and 125 pounds. The second suspect is a black male, 20 to 25 years old,
5'5", and 155 pounds.
September 28 to September 29: First Degree Burglary, 1600 block of Mussula Road, 21234
Between
3 p.m. on September 28 and 12:30 a.m. on September 29, an unknown
suspect pried open the front door and took electronics and a BB gun.
September 27: First Degree Burglary, Unit block of Allegheny Avenue, 21204
Between 1 and 7 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the apartment through unknown means. Money was taken.
September 27: Attempted Armed Robbery, 800 block of Dulaney Valley Road, 21204
At
2:10 a.m., the suspect approached the victim and demanded money. The
victim refused, and the suspect produced a knife. The suspect cut the
victim with the knife, and they began to struggle. The victim was able
to run to his home. The suspect is a black male, 20 to 30 years old,
5'11", with a thin build.
September 27: First Degree Assault, 8700 block of Loch Raven Boulevard, 21286
At
12:04 a.m., an officer was injured while trying to remove a disorderly
subject from the Days Inn. The officer was transported to the hospital
for treatment of non life-threatening injuries. Kendrick Staton, 20, of
the 100 block of North Rock Glen Road, 21229, was arrested and charged
with assault.
September 26: Attempted Murder, Hillsway Avenue and Perring Parkway, 21234
At
5:10 p.m., the victim was stabbed while fighting with four to six
suspects. The victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening
injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
September 24: Armed Robbery - Gun, 1400 block of Shoemaker Road, 21215
At
11:45 p.m., the suspect approached an employee of Henry's Towing and
asked if a vehicle had been towed. The suspect struck the victim with a
gun, and then took her cell phone.
September 24: First Degree Burglary, Unit block of Willow Avenue, 21286
Between 11:15 and 11:46 p.m., an unknown suspect forced open a side door. Nothing was taken.
September 24 to September 25: Third Degree Burglary, 1200 block of Linkside Drive, 21234
Between
2:30 p.m. on September 24 and 10:30 a.m. on September 25, an unknown
suspect entered the home and damaged doors, appliances, and floors.
September 23 to September 24: Attempted Burglary, 700 block of Walker Avenue, 21212
Between 11 p.m. on September 23 and 7 a.m. on September 24, an unknown suspect removed a window screen but did not gain entry.
September 23: Armed Robbery - Gun, Hillsway Avenue and Dartmouth Avenue, 21234
At
9:08 p.m., two suspects approached the victim and demanded her purse.
One suspect pointed a handgun at her, and demanded her jacket as well.
The first suspect is a black male, 20 to 30 years old, 5'6", with a thin
build. The second suspect is a black male, 20 to 30 years old, 5'7",
with a thin build.
September 23: First Degree Burglary, 500 block of Castle Drive, 21212
Between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the apartment through unknown means and stole jewelry.

Car broken into –Posted 9/24/13
My
car was broken into last night. It was parked on Heathfield, just south
of Dumbarton. There are no marks, so I am wondering if one of my kids
didn't shut a door all the way, or if somehow they pried a door open?
Two small items were stolen -- a small box with coins for the meters
around town and a bag for jumper cables (although they left the cables.
Maybe they thought the bag was a computer bag?) I have a call into the
police, mainly so they can track how often this is occurring in our
neighborhood. Which is A LOT!
My
truck was broken into last night. It was parked on Pinehurst between
Hopkins and Dunkirk. My golf clubs, shoes and backpack were stolen. I'm
hoping they may have dropped them somewhere because of no value or too
heavy to carry. If anyone saw or found anything please respond back.

Man sitting in car – 10/1
This
morning at 6 a.m. I found a man sitting in the passenger side of my car
- going through the center console. In disbelief of finding him, I
locked him in my car for a few seconds before he unlocked and ran out.
We're on the 100 block of Overbrook. The police were there shortly
after. There was nothing in our car for him to take so no damage or
property lost. He was about 6'1" blk early 20's, thin & was wearing a
bright orange sweatshirt. Just wanted to give a heads up!

LIGHTS ON!!
There
has been an overwhelming response to the Mr. Beam lights that Dora
suggested on Nextdoor Neighbor. Rob Williams has been organizing the
contributions by various contributors’ and dispersing amongst Forgers
requesting a light to light up the alley behind their homes. We would
like to thank everyone that has donated lights, help to install them,
and the continued interest in “LIGHTING UP THE FORGE”!! If you have any

HALLOWEEN IS AROUND THE CORNER!!
The
goblins, ghosts, and many other creatures will be out soon looking for a
trick or treat. The citizens on patrol will also be out in full force
to provide protection for our young trick-or-treaters, and also to help
deter mischievous night events as much as possible. But we ask your
assistance as a resident to also report any activity you may see by
calling 911. Let us all work together to make this a safe and wonderful
holiday for our young trick-or-treaters. The “Pumpkin Patrol” will be
out on watch, will you?
